These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the relationship between you and
Craftars SRL, a Romanian company (business ID RO19343662) with its
registered office at 17B Timisoara Blvd, Bucharest, Romania (“Craftars”,
“we”, “us”), regarding your use of the Measure Tools –
AR Room Planner mobile application and the measuretools.net
website (together, the “Service”). Our
Privacy Policy also applies to your use of the Service.
By installing the app or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not
agree, do not install or use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old to use the
Service; if you are under the age of majority in your country, your legal guardian must
review and agree to these Terms.
Measure Tools is an augmented-reality measuring and room-planning app for iOS and Android. It lets you measure distances, heights, areas and angles with your device camera, create floor plans, and preview true-size 3D objects and furniture in your real space. The app is free to download, with certain features available for free and others unlocked by paid subscriptions.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse-engineer or decompile the Service or any part of it, except where such a restriction is prohibited by law.
Premium features are offered through auto-renewing subscriptions (currently the
Measurements tier and the 3D Planning tier, which
includes Measurements). Subscriptions are purchased through, billed by, and managed in
your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Prices are shown in the store before you
buy and may vary by region.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of
the current period. You can cancel anytime in your store account settings; cancellation
takes effect at the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under
their respective policies — we cannot issue refunds for purchases made through the
stores. Statutory withdrawal and refund rights of EU consumers remain unaffected.
We may change subscription prices or features prospectively; changes never affect a
period you have already paid for.
AR measurements are estimates. Their accuracy depends on your device,
lighting, surface texture, camera calibration and how carefully points are placed. The
Service is designed for planning, estimating and visualization — deciding whether
furniture fits, estimating materials, sketching floor plans.
Do not rely on the Service as the sole basis for construction, manufacturing,
surveying, legal or safety-critical decisions. Always verify critical dimensions
with a suitable physical measuring tool before cutting materials, ordering built-ins, or
making similar commitments. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Craftars is not
liable for losses resulting from decisions made in reliance on measurements produced by
the Service.
You agree not to: use the Service in violation of any law; interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; use the Service to infringe others' rights, including their privacy; or misrepresent outputs of the Service as certified survey results.
Measurements, floor plans and measurement photos you create belong to you and are stored on your device. You are responsible for the content of photos you capture and share, and for respecting the privacy of people and property that appear in them.
The Service, including its software, design, 3D models, graphics, and the Measure Tools and Craftars names and logos, is owned by Craftars or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Some features depend on your device's capabilities (for example, a LiDAR sensor) and may not be available or perform equally on all devices.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Craftars shall not be liable for indirect,
incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data or
goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any
claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us through the Service
in the 12 months preceding the claim, or EUR 50 if you have paid nothing.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under
applicable law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or affects the
statutory rights you hold as a consumer.
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 4, 7, 8, 9 and 11 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you additionally enjoy the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. Before any formal dispute, please contact us — we make a genuine effort to resolve issues directly.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, is always available on this page. For material changes we will provide reasonable advance notice through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance; if you do not agree, stop using the Service.
